Evaluation
We get to know each student through in-depth interviews and online assessments. A review of student essays, transcripts, curriculum, extracurricular activities, awards, and priorities gives us a great foundation to start our college list and plan of action.
Preparation
It’s crucial that your student makes the most of their high school years so they can achieve their dream of attending the college of their choice.
We help prioritize activities and course selection to best meet the criteria. We also offer standardized test strategies, education on the Common App, and advice on summer experiences.
The List
Based on the student’s aptitude, preferences and goals we compile a list of schools that are a mix of challenge, target, and likely acceptance. We also look for any special academic opportunities or unique program offerings. Once the list is narrowed down, it’s time to plan for college visits. We help with the itinerary and discuss strategies for getting the most out of each visit; including what questions to ask, and how to follow up with Admissions.
